Art

People, especially stressed out people need a way to let go and express themselves. Art is the way that I have found that calms me down. I start doodling, drawing, or painting and become totally focused in what I'm doing. Then I'm calmer, relaxed, and more focused on what I have to do. I personally enjoy making collages, and doodling or sketching. In art class we are doing a really cool project where we have a large sheet of paper and we take a thin and a thick sharpie (black) and we start in a corner and draw anything we want! You are basically putting your train of thought on a piece of paper! Cool, huh?! Try it sometime, it's really cool!!!!!!!! :) Also, if you do it to music it's even better! Try these albums: Contra by Vampire Weekend, Broken Bells by Broken Bells, or Visitor or Time to Die by the Dodos. Have fun with the art!
